The dojo, led by the very capable\u00a0Luke Machado Sensei, opened its doors in 2012 at the Port St. Lucie Civic Center.<\/p>\n<p>Luke started his Aikido career at New Bedford Aikikai, before beginning his apprenticeship under Yamada Sensei in New York. While at New York Aikikai, Luke taught numerous classes, as well as serving as dojo manager.<\/p>\n<p>And as an added bonus, you&#8217;ll get to train with Tonya, who started her Aikido career <a href=\"http:\/\/www.aikidocenterofjacksonville.com\/wordpress\/about\/\">here in Jacksonville<\/a>, before moving to New York for <em>her<\/em> apprenticeship as an uchi-deshi.<\/p>\n<p>Luke is great.
