So, how many people does it take to keep a secret? Apparently, 33, because that’s how many of us were able to surprise Dee last night and celebrate her recent 5th dan promotion.
The bad news, of course, is that my wife will never trust me again!

Thank you all so much for the wonderful surprise this past Saturday. I’m still on cloud nine. Honestly, I can’t believe that you were all able to keep this a secret from me, for two weeks!
Of course the evening and gifts were wonderful, but the real joy for me was all the heartfelt camaraderie I experienced, from all my friends. This is why I love Aikido.
